Who is gonna win the C9 vs NRG matchup. I get on paper NRG Look like the #1 team ITW BUT They dont actually have an IGL... I get Ethan has TONS of experience but he hasnt IGL'd yet. and we seen what happened when, Crashies and Victor even with an IGL on FNS didnt perform well last year sadly. Marved only played with SEN last year, He didnt do too shabby icl. and Demon1 had an amazing year.

C9 took Fnatic to map 5, YES it was the end of the year at a tourney that didnt really matter but still, Thats impressive. but then when C9 went against OXG they got rolled HARD...

I think people look into NRG igl stuff way too much, anyone can call a round we've seen this from prx, The thing i worry for is their comms especially at this kickoff event maybe later in the year they will be solid. C9 losing to OXY doesn't really matter they didn't wanna show anything. C9 vs NRG would be interesting but NRG should take it. AND if NRG doesn't win i think again it would come down to synergy and ideas clashing. C9 great team I'm super high on oxy, and hope they make Shanghai or champs.

PRX had Benkai for most of it and when he left D4v41 mostly took over, We seen how SEN played with Marved as IGL... Its a hard thing to just pick up.

You know what an igl does right?? Teams go into matches with already set plans, an igl's job is to collect information and make decisions based on that information, being an igl doesn't mean anyone else can't call. like prx forsaken was calling the whole grand finals against drx but you can hear something calling the last round on bind. SEN already had a bad foundation you can't expect much from a guy who wasn't even meant to igl from the start to perform miracles.

But here's the thing sometimes igls don't call every game, i remember saadhak talking about less calling the nrg vs loud Americas gf but I'm not sure about that he could've been trolling.

As a C9 fan this games goes to NRG. I think it'll be close but in terms of firepower, experience, and depth, NRG has the upper hand. Not to mention Chet has film to watch on C9 and prep ahead of time which was one of the things that made OpTic/NRG great.

Then again OXY best player in the world
