NRG overhyped

why does everybody think NRG is gonna be so insane? washed Crashies and Victor with Marved who has barely played since OpTic. Demon1 is great but he's only played 1 season, and he didn't do amazing at Tokyo. He's an insane player but the expectations for him are too high. Ethan is also great, I think he'll do fine BUT this just seems like a diet OpTic team no?

the roles are so perfect. victor is just the perfect match for demon1 as victor can be the dive player demon1 cant be.

ethan can pick up flashes for victor which is historically his worst role.

why is demon1 not going crazy at tokyo important it was his first international lan and it was up in the air about whether he'd attend so they were practicing without him + with proper prac and no first international lan nerves he got MVP at champs

Why is Demon1 doing bad in Tokyo relevant? He’s a rookie from tier 2 why expect him to do well in his first ever lan plus the massive improvement he had in Champs (Finals mvp) he is clearly the best player itw rn.

I agreed, people make really simplistic analysis. Victor the most unstable mental in this game, ethan has to prove as IGL, Demon1 can't play other duelist because he has the same problem as Dgzin(sensi). Marved washed for more than 1 year and it's not even close to what he use to play on Optic. Crashies also didn't show up really well last year. S0m was their best player.

I mean, they look great on paper, it's obvious why people are getting hyped. It's not like they don't have the potential to become the best team in Americas or even the world. They could also crash and fail horrendously.

There's just so many question marks on the team, Marved in general, Ethan as IGL, crashies and Victor in terms of consistency. They could land anywhere between 1st to 10th (not landing below mibr, sorry) in Americas, so I dont really blame people for speculating either way. They're probably one of the harder teams to accurately predict.

I think NRG wil struggle initially due to ethan's lack of experience as the primary IGL but who knows what they will accomplish given enough time and practice

First off, never underestimate Demon1. Second, Ethan Crashies Marved know how to call and mid-round, so the team will be fine.
The only concern is who will play sentinel when Victor plays Raze and Crashies on Sova.
