Mine are: Pedro Paramo, Mygale and I'm Thinking of Ending things.
I'm planning to read The 120 Days of Sodom next year because the movie quite attracted my interest. 😼
Well, here is a short list of the books I have read/reread in the year of 2023 (not much of a reader):
And possibly others that I have missed.
Well, I think something books do better than other forms of entertainment is its ability to allow one to imagine things they have probably never imagined before. Therefore, I shall recommend to you "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. It's a fantasy novel, and I think it's a good read! Of course, if you don't like it I could always try to find you a book that suit your tastes.
Hi anyth1ng! I hope you're having a nice day. For new years eve, I am spending my time here at home in Milan. My family got puppies to raise therefore we cannot go on vacation (usually we go to Spain but this year we planned to visit Thailand). Regardless, I will be spending my day celebrating and anticipating the coming of 2024.
My life is reaching a point where I need to take things much more seriously and put in work unfathomable to my present self. There are a lot of things that are going to have to get done in 2024 and I am preparing myself mentally to tackle all the challenges/obstacles. One thing to look forward to are university applications (possibly)!
What about you? How are you spending your new years eve? I hope you have a wonderful rest of the day.
taking care of puppies is always a pleasant thing, I wish you and your family the best, 2024 is definitely going to be a good year for everyone. Also, good luck with your university applications, I'm confident you can go anywhere you want. For me, I'll be in brazil's northeast beaches as always, still don't know where exactly but i will find out tomorrow. Have a good rest of the day buddy❤️
I appreciate your kind words, anyth1ng. I am somewhat nervous about the whole process of becoming a member of society and getting higher education but I'm optimistic that things will work out well. I think spending the new year in Brazil's northeast beaches is a fantastic idea. I've never been to brazil, but I have friends living in and from Sao Paulo. I also know Fortaleza is a city located in the northeast. Regardless, have a wonderful new years eve! ❤️
I think I read only 2 books this year, "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen and "Hamlet" by Shakespeare.
I used to read more but cuz of the uni I don't have much time to read (or rather I want to use it for chilling and shit).
Either way I'm starting to listen to audibles so I think I'll "read" more books in 2024 :)
