I've been a fan of 100T since they made that disastrous CSGO roster, and now this 100T valorant roster I just don't think they have a shot this year, there playstyle it just doesn't work is it a coaching problem? Or something I don't know but I think it's time for 100T to let go of Asuna. I just don't see the impact of Asuna anymore, and Cryo is not helping aswell once the enemy has a 5 round lead on 100T I just know that the match is over at that point. Thoughts on letting go of Asuna?

Has bro watched any 100T game in the past year? Asuna might not have the highlight ace rounds anymore, but he's a really solid player that performs consistently in t1.

Asuna and Tenz are the same. Both great players but common denominators to the failures of 100T and SEN.

Yet somehow they have always consistently performed well regardless of how well the team is doing? I think the issue lies within the vision of the team itself, how they want to play and choose to, not exactly the players themselves. I've always said it but, the issue with sen has always been since 2022, they've tried fitting in too much with the meta, when clearly they work better by having their players play on their agent picks, even if that means they run an off-meta disadvantageous team. You cannot choose 1 player to be the reason behind the failure of a team, just like how you cannot erect one player to be the sole carry of that team, everything works in synergy. I feel like blaming one player on a team for the entire loss is the least productive way of looking at things, its no more than an excuse to shield other plausible variables from complaints; which itself is ironic considering most "smart" people on vlr will pick one player and associate them as the reason behind a teams downfall

I agree with you, solid statements. But I also consider what I said a fact until proven wrong ;)

You see, even if that was to happen and they'd perform better, my response would be the exact same. One player's addition or subtraction cannot influence it's entire win/loss direction, I feel like it's just a difference in how we see things :)

Well said man, Its good to come across a reply that isn't just replacing a player name with a zero

My biggest worry with 100t is they play to react instead of getting the opposing team to react. Many of their plays don't feel aggressive or like they are taking the initiative to find holes in the opposing team's defense.

I'm hoping with Boostio as an anchor you can allow the rest of the team to be more free knowing they have someone they can pivot off of. The cryo thing asuna thing still feels funky to me. Cryo is an insane oper but no one can make an argument that having reactive asuna is better than having an active one. When Asuna is given the liberty to create space with skye/kayo, but more specifically a raze, there's so much disruption happening compared to him on breach. I really hope they allow asuna to be that space eater instead of a just holding an a main stun with breach on haven

YES, i know, Asuna the overheated, but hopefully with a proven IGL and good coaching that can be reigned in a bit like Sean Gares was.

The one person I feel people forgot about is Bang. Once considered the second-best controller in NA(and technically the best with marved short retirement), if he can get back into a post plant objective based role, I think he can return to his level of play during the sean gares run. Bang to me feels a lot more effective when he has a outline role post execution, specifically when its holding space, even as a controller. His brim play felt amazing on bind.

Cryo is not an insane op'er. Cryo is following the footsteps of Hiko. You think Sideshow's evaluation of TenZ was bad, anyone looks at Cryo for more than a match while the observer is swapping between people, you will discover a treasure trove of just mistakes and bad plays.

Cryo is actually an insane op'er. His awareness and aim is really good too, he just didnt perform well recently. But I really think Bang and Asuna don't match with Cryo. Just my personal take.

I've never seen evidence of this "insane op" and I've literally been reviewing all of 100T games for a project. It's vapor. It's caster brain being transferred to you.
