OK let's think of it a different way. If drx played with foxy and flashback and showed up like they kind of did at the other off season tournaments, then it still would have been the final nail in the coffin. On the other hand, would rb and zest still be here if they played in the other off-season tournaments and drx flopped in the same way? Stax and termi are trying something new and it evidently worked better with foxy9 and flashback than with rb and zest.

Mako covers all the holes in DRX like a bandaid and he cant do it forever, zest and stax were definitely weak. RB was solid. They need to go english speaking or invest in T2 foxy9 is a nice talent

you realize their ceiling could be 3-5th place? Being a consistent top 5 team itw is not a bad thing. A lot of teams would gladly take that.

they would, but drx is one of the biggest orgs out there and having a 3-5 top team is not good for it to keep going on for 2-3 years, you need to win eventually. IMO only reason they’re a top 2 apac team is because APAC is weak. A sacrifice must be made if you want to win.

even in cod 2 years ago raze placed 2nd almost every event and still made a roster change. it’s not okay to keep losing !!

Yes termi is completely committed to making stax a good igl instead of picking one up. That's why this team fell apart. But young players always work well with flexible styles

Look how fast xeta got better at midrounding compared to stax, he just doesnt have it in him, the clear problem. Scapegoating RB whos their second most important piece is so odd.

Once again, I'm not blaming anyone. But it's clear that termi wants stax to adopt his own igl style and wants to let stax grow. This may be easier if the players are younger and its a fresh start

DRX played 2 very good off season tourneys against great teams and tried both rosters in those 2 tournaments and went with the better roster you can never know why they chose the new guys but you can tell they had the idea for a long time

the truth might just be more simple, their roster hit their ceiling and they chose to rebuild, it has nothing to do with rb and zest, they are proven world class players

mako and buzz were their best pretty much always, at times he was better than RB and stax is stax

Zest is like -10 and -20 in both their elimination games in tokyo and champs btw

tbh removing Zest was not a good idea imo, they should've kept him. removing Rb was a good move tho, BuZz needs to be the one playing sentinel, he is so good on sentinel.
