he was never a "laughing stock" , other than that one specific event in the city of reykjavik. dont create random narratives if you dont yourself remember what actually happened.

he was one of the highest rated player at champs 2022, definitely the most impactful on fnatic that event.
the only reason he struggled midway in the season for 2022 was because he had to swap roles to a completely different type from smokes. and that too he came back from it very quickly.

the only reason he was not in fnatic 2023 was because leo and chronicle were available

that's because most controllers are igls in eu like boaster, redgar, ange1, etc. mistic is the exception where he doesn't igl so he's the best by far
