He basically buffs all his teammates with his superior igling and now his mechanics coming back too. Earlier this year he had an injury and he sat out for basically all summer season. T1 went to shit and start losing literally every game till faker came back and carry them to worlds. Now he won worlds
Probably not. Also, not too many teams that are so reliant on a single player for macro play. Usually it's a combination of jungler/support/mid-laner. In the early days(when the game was very different from now), he was just soooooo much better than anyone else in the world. Carried primarily by destroying other players in lane and went around murdering people through picks.
Because he established the most dominant era with SKT back in 2013-2016 and yet in 2023 he still on top playing in such a high level while many players from his generation are already retired or far below their level back then
Now he led a new and young generation of korean players to win worlds.
Also a fun fact: he had a injury in his hand in the middle of the season this year, the team became very bad and then he returned and they started to play well again showing how much he is important in the team
