IGLs like Boaster, ANGE1, FNS etc have won tournaments while considered to be bad fraggers. Kingg has not even been close even with his fragging ability. Maybe LEV coach change will change that, but no way you would pick Kingg over any of the more proven IGLs.

yeah because kingg had a top 10 team just like ange1, fns boaster, ange1 had shao n suy, fns had crashies n victor and kingg had a low performing taco and a mazino on his first year with smokes. very alike.

You could same about other IGLs. And like I said reminds to be seen how this new Leviatan does, but in the past they have always lacked something what makes some teams real contenders and its been pretty clear that comes from coaches or/and IGL and lack of adaptability and being readable. People only mention Kingg because he can frag.

The problem with LEV is that their player quality has never been there. They got top8 champs and top6 copenhagen with tacolilla adverso shyy and melser. You cannot tell me these 4 are world contenders, ESPECIALLY in 2023 (taco is worse than an immo3 player from LFG discord and adverso went to go drive trucks or smth)

Sure, but like I said you could make same argument about other IGLs as well.

During Copenhagen Tacolilla was performing well and they only won vs XSET (close 1-2 vs Fnatic tho).

In Champions they got 1st in their group, but that was against PRX who looked pretty weak, and Liquid. After that got 2-0'd by LOUD and FPX.

In 2023 Lock In they won vs ZETA and Vitality while the individuals were popping off, after got rolled by NaVi.
And for rest of VCT Americas they ended up placing 5th. (LCQ 2nd, 1-3 vs KRU).

That is Leviatan's relevant journey so far, and like its true that Leviatan's roster has never been top tier, its still kind of crazy to rate Kingg as top tier IGL when there's nothing to show that.
