Russ whose biggest achievement is that he played for Guild and was getting carried by players like Sayf, tex and Leo

Polvi Tier 4 player who can’t even farm regionals. Like he isn’t even cracked.

Edit: I don’t think people are understanding what I am trying to say about Polvi. Do you really think he can aim diff Yay, Something, jemkins, Meteor, texture, sayaplayer, Buzz, foxy9, etc. He can hard carry this team to playoffs. Since he is the Sole duelist player of the team and will have to perform in every fucking match. Cause except Blazeking, no one in this team is capable of hard carrying. Unlike Old GE where Texture and Monyet would hard carry and sometimes bazzi was clutching round

Benkai who was benched in prx and Prx management thought That it was better to play without a full time igl than him being in the active roster. Whose only main weapon was his igling and he said he won’t igl in Global esports

Lightning Fast bro hasn’t played much so I wouldn’t say anything about him. Deserves a fair chance

Blazeking probably their best player and who would actually carry Ge

And Spin as the Head coach. GE in 2024 will make DFM look like fucking Champions trophy winning team

Squirrel I respect you, cause all your leaks were bang on. But do you really think this guy stands a chance against these top duelists. And Mind you, he is the sole duelist of the team. Like he has to be the one to carry them, and has to perform in every game. Cause there is no way in hell The other 4 has the potential to carry the team, atleast not Russ, benkai, and Lightning. Don’t know about Blazeking. Unlike the previous Ge, where Monyet and Texture could carry it.

as for your point he doesn't necessarily have to be the solo hard carry of this team, BlaZek1ng & Benkai are all mechanically talented & great support players, he just needs to do the job that Botssi couldn't and GE will be contenders for playoffs purely off that

EG had Potter as their coach bro. Don’t you dare disrespect potter by comparing her with Spin. She literally showed improvements with the team in when the team got in Lower bracket and kept on improving the team with better starts and anti strats. I remember EG’s Lotus was a problem for them when they went against Fnatic in Masters. In Champions she literally fixed that map.

Lets not forget how people wanted EG to have a different coach than potter before their tokyo run, they were on the brink of being eliminated in the league play so idk how people are saying potter is GOAT, she wasn't even seen much until their miracle tokyo run and the respect for her only shot up after their consistent performance, i'm not saying give spin a chance or some crap, this fraud spin will fail for sure but lets see how things go.

You aren’t wrong. But technically Potter was in the lime light way before their Tokyo run. It was when they took down NRG in playoffs, who were primed to win the vct America tour, cause Loud were still going through crisis before masters. Then they 2-0ed cloud 9 who were still in their honeymoon period with Runi and Jake. That’s when everyone started talking about potter and the fact that she improved the team with every match up. Each map which was the problem for EG was getting fixed and their map pool was getting stronger and stronger

The problem isn’t if polvi is gonna perform or not. The problem is, GE could literally have gotten so many upgrades this season, like even if Spin had half the brain, a decent coach has. Ge could have gotten brain plus firepower this season. There were so many good options. But he chose fking Polvi.

Almost Every team got upgrades, yet GE made the most mediocre roster ever

You are not getting my point. The point is, he isn’t some cracked duelist with busted stats. He is an average duelist with normal stats. You can get literally so many duelists like him in Pacific. So why would they waste their import slot over him. Maybe because Polvi and Spin used to play together and spin got his friend a job, in the name of scouting. Cause a half decent coach wouldn’t choose Polvi over Talents like Vici, who was considered on Something’s level when the played together. Krystal, Jemkins,etc

Have u consider a possibility that GE already did so many offer to those players u mentioned but they refused to play on GE.

Maybe GE just want to rebuild like EG roster. Just a combination of some average players but with a great coach team and structure , they can built a great team eventually.

I personally doesnt know who better duelists out there that better than polvi, available to be bought, and also willing to move across country to compete. So im fine with polvi tbh.

Yes but with this team you know what will happen. No offense, but do you really think, they can out aim players from Drx, prx, Bleed, T1, Zeta, GenG, even RRQ. No hate or nothing. Just honest opinion. These players aren’t Tier2 gods. They all are literally average in Tier2. None of them is a cracked enough Tier2 player.

of course I think realistically the roster isnt as good looking as those teams but if the coaching staff can work on their flaws and somehow bring the best from them and it gels together who knows.
If I was building the roster, I wouldn't bring in Polvi imo. My only big problem with the roster is him. Thats the spot where surely you spend the money on an experienced top level player so everyone can look to reaching his standard

Last year roster was if it hit they will be top3-5 pacific and if it didn't they'll be 7-8.
2024 roster, if it worked out they'll be 6-7 and if it didn't then they'll be 9-11.

Other roster on paper are much better, but I would give them a chance to see how good they can play with each other. Although I do think GE is taking too much risk on Spin. But I'll be glad to be proved wrong.
