Fortress Melbourne, a gaming and esports venue in Australia, has announced Rise of Valour, the next Oceanic event in Riot Games' Ignition Series.
The event will have $70,000 AUD (~$49,730 USD) worth of prizes, including $15,000 AUD (~$10,656 USD) in cash prizes, spread across a month's worth of competition, with some prizes available to spectators.

Rise of Valour is split into four stages: The Open Qualifiers, the Play-In Stage, the Last Chance Qualifier, and the Finals.
There will be six open qualifiers, with two played each weekend. Each open qualifier will consist of a single-elimination Bo1 bracket, with the top two teams qualified to the next stage, along with points awarded to teams based on their placement. The sixteen qualified teams will play in the Play-In Stage on August 29, which will consist of a single-elimination bracket, with each match played as a Bo1, except for the two qualifying matches, which will both be Bo3. Two teams will proceed to the Finals from this stage.
The twelve remaining teams from the Play-In stage, as well as the top 4 point-scoring teams from the open qualifiers, will play in the Last Chance Qualifier on August 30, the following day. The format is identical to that of the Play-In stage, with a Bo1 single-elimination bracket, and Bo3 qualifying matches. The two top teams from this stage will qualify for the Finals.
With the four teams decided, the Finals will play out on September 5 and 6 in a double-elimination Bo3 bracket and a Bo5 grand finals with a one map upper-bracket advantage.

The prize pool for the Finals will be $13,000 AUD (~$9,234 USD), with the prize pool split as follows:
- 1st: $6,000 AUD (~$4,262 USD)
- 2nd: $4,000 AUD (~$2,841 USD)
- 3rd: $2,000 AUD (~$1,420 USD)
- 4th: $1,000 AUD (~$710 USD)
Additionally, $2,000 AUD (~$1,420 USD) will be distributed in the Last Chance Qualifier, with the split as follows:
- 3rd-4th: $600 AUD (~$426 USD)

- 5-8th: $200 AUD (~$142 USD)
