serious ascension question

Okay, let's say that one of the Ascension teams turns out to be insane and dominates both the 2024/2025 seasons. What happens? If an ascension team is CLEARLY the best team in the world, and Champions winners, do they just get demoted back to Tier 2? Surely they would win Ascension again the next year, but then all the Tier 1 International Events of the next year don't show who the REAL best team is because the best teams are stuck back in Tier 2 for an entire year. Then, what happens to the OTHER Tier 2 teams that are trying to compete for Ascension when the best team gets dropped down and just starts smurfing Tier 2, making the entire scene pointless for other orgs? This is all hypothetical but this is something that could definitely happen. Like if FNATIC was an Ascension team and got dropped down after this year, HOW WOULD THAT WORK??

it's possible that riot could put them in the partnership system in the next round of partnership agreements bc a team in their region is performing very badly and is bad content or has shit financials. But unless that happens they're just going to have to go back down to T2, but the players will almost be guaranteed to get on T1 teams
