NA ≥ CIS > KR > EU > TR > LATAM > SEA > BR/JP
Based off of best team from each, not the overall depth of the region. Thoughts?
When SEN won, NA > everyone, now SEN lost but they still say NA > everyone, but now that Gambit won, CIS > EU. When they came with the "If team from this region wins, that means that the region is better because the other teams from there are around the same level". Separating EU/CIS/TR is just stupid since they all scrim eachother, play with eachother on the same servers and play all the important tournaments against eachother. Just based on the same logic NA ppl used after Masters 2, if Gambit wins, EMEA > NA. This region separation is just their way to cope and an excuse to say NA > EU. Maybe at some point, there's going to be no representative from the EU teams in EMEA and be just CIS or TR. Who's going to watch them? Obviously EU people that will root for them. I doubt that people from Phillipines wouldn't root for X10 or Paper Rex if those teams were their only representatives for SEA region, just like NA would root for Soniqs or any Canadian team if that was their region only representative. I know it might sound shocking but CIS and TR people are using the same ranked leaderboards and servers like EU so if we go to a player level, the bar is the same for all of them. As much as I'd like Envy to win so 100Thieves get that spot for Champions and be "good bros" (not so much though, I just wanted Envy to win and if they lost, 100T to win the finals so Envy qualifies too) I want a victory for Gambit more just so Fnatic goes to Champions and skips LCQ.
I’m not disrespecting JP, I literally cheered for them to win it all behind KR
I guess I should phrased it this way, when you put the #2 KR team vs #2 JP team, and so on, the KR teams are probably better
VS > CR
NU > Zeta
TNL > Nth
F4Q > FL
DWG > RC
Zeta/CR might be better then DWG or TNL, but when you compare the two regions head to head, KR > JP even by depth
