mostly the emea fans cry and get pissed from observation but they don't like his behaviour bc he is starting random beef and is being disrespectful to other players. This creates a storyline and something for people to talk about even though he is being the villain. I don't like boostio's trash talk tho. Demon1 is just a smart guy farming impressions

ngl I don't hate demon1 so much anymore, bro is a 1 man army... Boostio is who I despise - talking trash before a game is fine, but after the game is very cringe and especially racist shit like "they're pretty good for a chinese team". He may be good friends with them off-screen, but people only see what's right in front of them
Also anyone that says esports need toxicity, ur just wrong. Toxicity discourages new players to step into the pro scene, and also encourages players to be toxic in other aspects of the game (minor region leagues, game changers, ranked)

If someone said “pretty good for an Americas team” it’d be fine.
If someone said “pretty good for a Pacific team” it’d be fine.
If someone said “pretty good for an EMEA team” it’d be fine.

imo people are disliking him because he is trying so hard to be the bad guy of valorant that and his skills people in rival teams are beginning to see him as the villain in these tournaments, need to keep in mind EG were lost before Demon1 came into the roster so the man is allowed to talk his shit if he wants
Honestly because it just seems forced idk it's like EG told them to trashtalk just so eg gets social media attention or something...plus he's American lol..
I liked Demon1 before he did all of these things, he was my favorite from EG, and EG is like the 2nd team that I liked. Maybe it's just fun really, but him forcing this "villain" behavior is just a turn off, and makes him unlikable. I mean, even Alfajer doesn't like him so... But ngl he's really good, could be the best player rn.
