A new region yes. But not necessarily a new team. Current edg roster had been around for over a year now. And they been practicing, scriming with prx, one of the best team in the world. So they are not entirely “new”. They are not new to the meta or anything. They even attended the last champ last year. Saying them is new is just wrong.

But they have way less resources to work with. Less good teams to scrim with. Dont have the most experienced coach and analyst. Therefore china still got a long way to go. I dont see them surpassing eu and na any time soon in terms of strat and dynamic. Boost is wrong but rn clearly na > cn. But still there is only 1 fking good team in NA after 3 years. That’s embarrassing.

I mean it makes sense Esports been struggling and the players are trying to spice things up and draw more viewership, it seems like a collective effort. Not sure why some people are so triggered over it, just a different era I guess. The BM from everyone I've seen so far is just so tame...I mean, are we not sport fans? Y'all never watched hockey where they actually like beat on each other and stuff? lol For me it's just slightly entertaining enough, though the canned banter kinda breaks immersion for me.
