Why does everyone hate SkRossi? I'm kinda new on vlr so i missed all his drama and stuff
Everyone saying it’s cause of the hype, it’s not. It’s also his arrogant behavior which makes him unlikable, ever since he got the franchise contract, he has developed this persona that he is the savior of the Indian gaming community. Plus I clearly remember him saying that he is the king of his region. Literally self proclaimed himself king. What kind of an arrogant prick calls himself that? Literally every member of the team apologized for the loss in the league stages but this guy said if everyone’s okay now and didn’t apologized once. Called himself a savior of the Indian gaming community. Like how can you type all these things? I have never seen Boaster Fns or any top tier players doing that.
You do realise that Indians mechanical skills in the game is shit. Hell, even after 3 years of the game being released, imports are the tournaments mvps of Indian region and imports are the reason why the game is still alive.
2021 Rossi wasn’t good, it’s just that every other player’s ceiling in India is pretty damn low. They’re not mechanically good or skilled. He has been mid from the start, it’s just that you couldn’t see it because he was above everyone. But everyone’s skill level is so damn low that him being mid covers it. People just can’t accept that fact that is has been mid from the start.
Maybe you got that impression with his recent tweets, the fact is, he actually is the best India has to offer. The guy consistently fragged in this region. The problem is, India/SA region was never known for esports (Pakistan got success in takken, but nothing significant in fps games). If you consider the level of competition he had to face, it was the region which is to blame partially. It's the 13y/o kids who haven't seen performances of Indian teams on international stages before this in CS era who hyped him up. They were also a reason for the hate. Indian fans, specially those 13y/os were relentless and gave him hate on Twitter feeds, dms and insta. There has to be a tipping point and he just tilted.
If you just want to get the idea of amount of dumb valo fans India has, take a look at LFT posts of doma and ec1s. They were bought in by the 2nd most successful org in SA and didn't perform as expected. Their LFT posts are filled with hate and dumb tweets
Honestly the Indian region would’ve been dead after Franchise, if the imports didn’t take over the region. People still don’t realise this, but it’s a doomed region.
Look at Orangutan, they got 0-4 in Ascension. They lost to team that didn’t have any facilities or anything. No hate To bonkers. Nothing but respect to them. Honestly I respect The owner of Enigma, that guy dropped his Indian roster and shifted to Singapore.
Indian region is the same as Pakistan and Australia, it’s just that we have money on burn on things. And these guys are wise enough to know that spending money on a region which doesn’t have any future doesn’t make any sense.
Even the viewers of the game have dropped, these guy begged Content Creators of India to stream Ascension so that they could get increase their view count. They had to ask a disbanded org to put posts about Ascension SA, so that people get interested and watch the matches. But Indian audience isn’t interested anymore, even in their own team.
GE once lost a very important match. all his teammates and coach tweeted sorry but he tweeted "are people still crying? let me block you" instead. arrogant player. (the thread)
