The issue with all the NA superteams is that you can tell all of them were specifically built to do well in the Chamber meta.
As far as C9 went Leaf and Yay on the same team makes absolutely zero sense unless you consider that C9 were planning to put Yay on perma chamber and have leaf be their primary entry. Xeppaa and Zellsis were probably supposed to be put on initiator roles.
SEN were planning to put TenZ on perma-chamber and have Zekken be the entry.
100T arguably had better flexibility because they had an actual sentinel player in the form of Stellar and Cryo played more Jett on more maps than Yay did even during the peak of the Chamber meta, but especially on maps where they needed to put Asuna on raze he was stuck on roles he was very clearly not comfortable on.
NRG signed Ardiis as a replacement for Yay during the chamber meta because of his performance at champs, but also took into consideration his role flexibility so they made a calculated risk, which is reflected in their performance thus far.
EG just said fuck it we'll sign 10 players and organized them in whatever way benefits the meta the most.
