I've been listening to like bossa and some Samba I haven't even scratched the surface so I'd like to experiment with everything
on mpb-ish genres you could check out Milton Nascimento (clube da esquina is a goated album), Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Cartola, Tom Jobim, Baden Powell, Sivuca, Hermeto Pascoal, Zé Ramalho, Alceu Valença, Elba Ramalho, Gal Costa, Leci Brandão, Vanessa da Mata, and so much more
MOST MPB (Música Popular Brasileira - Popular Brazilian Songs) - Djavan, Marisa Monte, etc will be good, also Bosanova, Pagode/Samba (Ferrugem, Sorriso Maroto, Thiaguinho, Péricles, etc), there's also Rock like Angra, Sepultura, etc
Not from BR but love their culture (music, architecture, cinema, etc..)
Baden Powell (choro), Tom Jobim & Joao Gilberto (bossa) are my favourites
