Riot being unfair towards KC?

They literally allowed TH to pick up a new player from tier 2.
KC were thrown into a tricky situation mid season and had to play with an Assistant coach. Just like TH. So I'm not sure why they allowed them to make a move. They looked fine with Weber.
Well this is more about letting TH pick up someone than not letting KC pick up a player.

I saw a thread some time ago that said zeek couldn’t play because he got back pain or something like that so Riot let TH get a sixth

Ya but he was their sixth so without zeek they only had 5 players, idk if KC has 5 or 6 currently but maybe they didn’t get to pick one up because Newzera chose to leave rather than something physically stopping him from playing

Hold on there, TH is not the only team who has used the Emergency clause. SEN has used it, Furia has used it and I think someone else.
Problem here is Newzera stepped out himself which is not a reason for Riot to allow a signing.

I think deciding what's enough of a reason what's not it's too subjective, the problem is not having a second market through the year

Sen and Furia used their 6th, heretics were allowed to SIGN another one, so not the same case there.

Newzera stepping out should be emergency cause it was not an org choice but a personal one.

No, Sen and Furia signed a 6th mid season and then used it which is a signing and exactly the same case as here.

Again, it probably should but it's something subjective which is why I don't like it, but you can make a case how having a player injured or a player step out on free will is not the same

I mean yeah, the thing is, Riot said it was their choice wheter to catalogue an emergency or not, and that leaves room for many unfair or inconsistency on their part.

But i do think next year having two masters and probably two transfer window everyhting will be better.

Yeah that's what I mean, like it's not like both cases are the same and they gave different treatments, but it's just not something exact and fair. They need to change it

KC trying to be all professional following the rules etc, whilst TH being very persistent and keep pushing boundaries, finding loophole, extreme situational condition to get Benjy (probably idk).
