The val community just chose to overhype him for no reason, because of one clip when they litteraly never even watched a game of his.
I've been following the CN scene for a while and whzy has always been there especially when chamber was peaking and he was way better than now, he has some pop off performances, but he never managed to get closed to qualifying to an international event.
Sfop comparing him to kang kang because it's not even close, kang kang would qualify even if you put him on Shanghai sharks, whzy couldn't with a reasonably decent team for a while now

8-1 for KK, the 1 being a group stage game, KK actually beat him when he was 16 playing for RNG too, the difference in performance when they face was huge too

So 2/5th of the lineup is the same.
+Knight +Biank +Yosemite.
2 of the kone boys coming in is huge.
the spine of the roster is now different, i dont think you can use historical matchups to argue one team is better.

Bro I checked out the chinese scene and saw whzy stats after being impressed with EDGs champions run last year and it made him look like the goat of china, sure he might not make it to champions (which is unlikely) but you can't deny hes a top 2 duelist in China and hes far from overhyped

Imo KK is CN best player, but to say it's not close is a stretch, Whzy is only a slight behind or maybe even equal, their 2022 matchup stats for whzy it's insane despite losing and carrying so hard

That's just false, KK at 2021 was carrying hard but still his team is mid until he joined EDG in 2022 while Whzy at TOE (during 2021) was a top team beating KK team several times but turn shit at 2022, and BLG has a high chance in making champs this time
