Guild qualified to Copenhagen and lost to the eventual grand finalists but beat Optic in the group stage. They were a good team but kicked Russ who was just a very mid player. They tried to get Twisten but some stuff happened so they couldn’t, and opted for Yacine instead to play last year’s LCQ where they got either last place, or second to last place despite being favorites. Yacine was so awful, he brought down a team with Leo, Sayf, and trexx by himself.
He played main duelist and ended the event with a 0.75 rating, he’s worse than newzera
Clearly he was a na spy planted in guild by optic so they didn’t have to face guild again so they had a chance to win champions genuinely I feel like guild was just a bad matchup for optic.
as guilds players all made random ridiculous plays that simply put couldn’t be anti strated because half the stuff they came up with on the spot.
It’s why nrg struggled so much against fnatic as sure they have set plays but all their players can also make random insane plays which makes nrg’s anti strating almost pointless.
They also struggled against gambit again another team with players that just make random insane plays
