Are teams ditching this Masters?

Is it just me or does it seem likely that certain teams are ditching these masters as they are qualified for the Champion's in 1 months time? There's already been major complaints about the time crunch and any/all strats shown here will be known for Champs, there's not much time left at all.

~Qual for champions >Treat every game like they are Navi 2023 >Oh no we lost >Japan for a few days >Go home and practice for ~2weeks longer than everyone else and have a better chance at Champions.

Some teams definitely have something to prove here(EDG, EG) but a few of the teams? fyi I support Navi so 💀

Yeah feels like some teams weren't taking this Masters seriously because they already qualified to champions. They didn't care about their region additional spot because no incentives money to org and players just like lock//in and champions.
Riot shouldn't done this seeding automatically to champions. Should've had another split 2 seeding for champions. Teams like T1, DRX , FUT , LOUD, NaVi just happy to be here.

Why would you play to lose?

You would get a seeding advantage if you make it further into the tournament and you’d get your region another slot? It would be stupid to just give up all these advantages to win the “big” tournament

Maybe the constant playing has induced burnout, a 2 week break might be the reason some teams didnt really try but im just guessing
