Do you think teams like LOUD, DRX, NAVI got a little complacent and egotistical? It feels like they let the others catch up to them while they kept thinking they were too good to focus on the lil things. They've got some of the best players we've ever seen yet, almost all of them winning some tournament, and played so great in their leagues but just a few weeks later bomb out like this? All props to EG and EDG, but at least give them a fight?

Let me correct that for you, a lot of brazilians misinterpreted what saadhack said. Less is giving some call-outs and pointing out enemy positions and sometimes what he thinks they'll do. Saadhack still the full igl, thats the whole reason why hes on the team, he literally bottom frags most maps. Less just turned 18, saadhack knows thats too young to be a igl
LOUD: Didn't lock in, losing fights and rounds that they should never lose. They'll be back in form for Champs.
DRX: Trolling themselves with the 6 man roster
NAVI: Has not been good since they lost Ardiis, inflated 4th placing from farmers league, were obviously not Masters caliber and shouldn't have been here (imagine giving EMEA 4 slots for a 1 team region)

Happy for their win last year, but this team is no FPX. Shao and Suygetsu are not the players they were on FPX, cNed is NOT the player that won Champions, and Ange1 and staff are not reading the meta as well as previously or reading other teams as well as they used to.
NAVI went 3-0 in LOCKIN groups, 7-2 in the split (beat liquid), looked good in the playoffs before playing yoru vs FUT. Almost everyone when not biased rate most of these players as incredibly gifted and amazing. On their best days they can overperform what they used to do on FPX. By saying they're not masters caliber youre not making sense because EMEA gets 3 slots anyway and if NAVI dont troll they end up qualifying regardless.
Fluke tournament, beginning of splits in all leagues were a dumpsterfire as teams were trying to mesh/figure out roles/establish a meta, Liquid is ass

If the tournament is a fluke, then their performance in it is irrelevant and you shouldn't be able to use their performance in the tournament as evidence in the first place. "Fluke tournament" "tournament that matterred" do you ever talk any sense other than subjective perspective? everything you just said was ad-hoc reasoning and confirmation bias

LOCK IN was a fluke, EMEA VCT they got dismantled, Masters groups they got embarrassed (on a global stage btw!)
You can keep coping about them trolling, or bad bracket, or waiting for them to "overperform" but the reality is that FPX was good because Ange1 was reading other teams and adapting on the fly, Ardiis was a reliable anchor on the chamber, and Shao and Suygetsu were clutching and pulling off insane rounds when all else failed.
None of that is happening anymore. The team has lost its identity and replaced it with "well fuck, maybe cNed can pop off" and "I guess we'll play Yoru, it works in ranked"
LOUD: Bleed scrims broke em + genuine shocked on how good/improved EG and other region (China) have keep up to them.
DRX: 6 man problem, foxy9 not upto international standard, Termi/Stax clash on handling starting 5 and stax ability to midround IGL, PRX broke em, and loss of unity as a team
NAVI: "Oh shit we have an actual problem", this zmjjkk guy hitting ALL his OP shots. U can see the face of Suygetsu when Kang Kang kill him so many times. Wouldn't say complacent, but been put on backfoot by a surprising opponent and resulted in an exit loss.
