Well thats kinda different, cuz thats literally a european team, the subsection of EMEA is "Europe" and that's what they are, yet SA is a different subsection of Americas, They're SA, EG and NRG are NA.
Historically everything about them was different and only the top 5 from each region are conjoined
To add to that EMEA and EU territory's ALWAYS scrimmed each other and had the same opportunities, and tournaments, they also always shared slots, NA and SA have NOT done ANY of that
