Wasn't this sort of a buy-loan plan for Barcelona anyways ? Meaning, that Inter Miami would first buy him and then loan him off to Barcelona so that the two orgs can share his salary. In this way, Messi can play in Barcelona while Miami would be getting a bit of cash themselves off his popularity. Again idk i remember i saw this thing a few days ago but not sure if its the actual case or not.
