-steel +brax
works out for both
Brax is still a kid with no knowledge doesn't matter how good he was in cs hes not as good in valorant both of these things devalues him as a player in valorant while steel's knowledge is already incombarble to others and the aim standard for a pro player in the scene, chaning him out for Brax would be a downgrade..
Hiko does bait but that is clearly the style the team thinks he will get the most value on, and it makes sense. He is a great clutch player and he is playing Sova. To maximize Sova's value living for the arrow to come back is huge. He can and should play closer to the team and attempt to trade more often though.
Here's a fix: give them time. They've been playing with Ethan for 3 weeks and have only been playing against the top teams in NA. It took Sen 2 months before they won an event, Faze was garbage until this year, even after being together for such a long time and Envy's roster with food and crashies took months before they became the best team for a bit. 100T has the firepower, a top 3 IGL in NA and a player who has been playing great despite only playing competitively for 3 weeks. They have what it takes to be the best team in NA but just need more time.
Buddy no one said anything about Sen so why are you bringing them up? They are the most talented roster in the world with a top 3 IGL in NA so of course they will adapt quicker than 100T. 100T on the other hand was experimenting a strat that is not the meta in NA with a player who has played 3 weeks of the game since switching over against the top 12 teams in NA and made it to Masters, only losing to 3 of the top 4 teams and NRG. With time, they can catch up to Sen and challenge the #1 spot in NA but they just aren't on that level right now.
SEN is not the most talented roster in the game, but they are certainly in the conversation for NA, top 3 at the lowest for individual skill. Brazil and Europe have super teams with incredible skill that matches or exceeds the peak of SEN at every role. Hopefully TenZ can become a permanent part of SEN but it might take a while for that to happen.
the fix is not trying to copy everything EU does. Nitr0 was great playing Omen, why the fuck did they stop playing 2 duelists? Just to copy EU? We don't even know that this way of playing is better or not, just put Ethan on a Duelist, nitr0 back on smokes and we will see the results coming back on their way. Ethan Jett, Reyna or Phoenix.
Ethan said that he won't be on Smokes for long, I think that they are mostly just trying this while Ethan learns the game. I think that breach is broken and that he should be played, but I don't know if they will continue to play it.
Steel should move to Cypher full time since he likes to lurk and that lets his util get value.
I know I'm a bit late to the party but eh, fuck it!
Move Hiko to Breach on all maps
Move nitr0 back to smokes as Omen/Astra
Move Ethan to Sova/Sage
At the end of the day, I think a single duelist comp can work, especially with someone as CRACKED as Asuna... but Asuna NEEDS direct help when entering sites and I think these changes can offer just that!
Breach is almost always necessary (or at the very least a huge improvement) in single duelist compositions over Sage. You have to play Omen and Sage much more aggressively than 100T wants to so I think that they could make the Single duelist comps work, and I hope they do, but I doubt that they will.
everyone saying -steel +brax are silvers who think games are won by fragging out. Give 100T time, Ethan joined the team recently and hasn't adapted fully to Valorant like his teammates. They can honestly either run either double duelist or single duelist, it's just that they run single duelist because they want 4 of them to play tactically and similar to csgo, while they let Asuna double satchel onto site.
