Question from all old fps and csgo fans...

Why na , sa and asia soo shit in csgo , in current Paris major out of top 8 teams only 1 na team , 0 from sa and asia. While in valorant we got very good teams from almost every region - eu , cis , apac , east asia, na , brazil and latam . But csgo is total dominated by eu and cis??
Is that the reason valo will be more popular in upcoming time and because popular soo fast.

There was very little advertising in other regions, and after nearly all tournaments started getting held in EU, it just went downhill for NA csgo.

all americans switched to valorant cause they were all tier2 in csgo, and even here they look shit…eu has no namers as players or all made their name on valorant and still better than na even in valorant that should tell u everything…NA just doesnt have the genes for games

NA CS was on the rise, but it got killed by the Louvre Agreement. We would unironically be on par with EU, or at least have half as many competitive teams as EU, if it weren’t for COVID. SA is bad for the same reasons. Asia doesn’t get to play with any good teams ever in CS.

Also as far as popularity goes, only three regions matter: Europe, Brazil, and China. CS dominates all 3, so until Valorant dominates either Europe AND Brazil, or just China, it can’t surpass CS.
