It's very easy to lose weight, literally just eat less for several months. Veggies would help, cabbage has high volume but very low calories for example.

Eating less doesn't not work as they are highly to relapse , prob need to substitute their diet with less carbs and fats and more high fibred food

A good option is a food tracking app such as myfitnesspal.

Not necessarily. While it's technically possible to gain muscle while losing weight, it's generally not recommended as it can put unnecessarily stress on your body/lifestyle, as well as unrealistic expectations. The most important thing for losing weight is calories out > calories in.

I calculate calories based on the ingredients if the app tracker doesn’t help me with the calories of a dish,

health apps help a lot but they vary depending on region so i can’t help you with the names.

Other than that you need to keep up with a diet regiment which coincides with your workout, low carbs high protein if you train a lot of muscles in the gym, if you do cardio a lot i’d recommend improving water intake and fibres with whatever you eat. Each person’s metabolism is different so if none of this works consult a dietary coach or something🫡

So before you even begin dieting i suggest you take a week of eating normally and track what you eat in a week.
Make sure you really measure your portions so you get an accurate idea of the calories you are intaking.
Usually that is eye opening enough for a lot of people if you base it off of an average 2500 calorie diet.

There's a lot of diet routes you can go , but what I've been doing lately as a diet and food tracking strategy is I've been tracking my liquid intake as well as my food intake with an intermittent fasting diet app. Theres several you can use but I currently use "Simple." The official app is on Simple.life This just allowed me to cut down on the meals I was eating per day and so far it's gotten me down 30 lbs and thats not including the fat I've probably replaced with muscle. There are many different dieting routes out there, but the two main take-aways are calorie deficit no matter what strategy you use, and make sure whatever diet you do you are doing it safely.

The thing you do have to remember no matter what diet route you take is that it is a slow process, and the only way you're gonna do it is if you stay consistent. Working out will only get you so far, but the diet is 80% of the weight loss.

Remember to take it slow and dont be discouraged at the start. It's better to see consistency throughout your journey than showing intensity at the beginning only.

There are calorie/nutrition phone apps where you can enter your own recipes into. Exercise even if it's starting out by walking around your block

Weight train with cardio, building muscle makes your body naturally burn more calories. Also get a food scale and use myfitnesspal. Keep up discipline that's important. Do it when you don't feel like it. Importantly, don't feel bad if you slip up, js get back to it the next day. Don't allow a failure or 2 mess you up.

I think a big part of the weight loss process is mental strength. For people who have a diet filled with high calorie rich food, it's difficult to cut back. Especially if your diet has a lot of sugary food. You will literally face relapse symptoms as if you were on drugs. There is a medical term for it too. If you create a healthy food routine for yourself and control your cravings for the first 2 weeks or so, the rest of it should be easy. Giving up the rich foods is not physically difficult, just need to remind yourself of that.
