G2 has been very vocal about how they dont care about seeding. I mean back when shahz and dapr were on sen, so idk. The other ones are actually trying but not to their fullest probably.

M80 is 100% confirmed to qual, and I'll assume Guard qualifies as well for the sake of argument.
This post was 23 days ago, so before any split 2 matches. so:

(hypothetically)
If TT gets first place in split 2: 6 points + 25 new points = 31
DSG 2nd- 8 + 23 = 31
Faze 3rd- 9 + 19 = 28
MXM 4th- 12 + 16 = 28
TSM 5th- 14 + 14 = 28
Oxygen 6th- 14 + 13 = 27
M80- at least 31 points
Guard- at least 23 points

And assume G2 gets 12th, they'd be at 22 points, meaning top 8 would be M80, Guard, TT, DSG, FaZe, MXM, TSM, and Oxygen (HYPOTHETICALLY). G2 wouldn't have enough points to qual. Obviously some games have happened and DSG won't get 2nd, but using that post as justification to say M80, Guard, and G2 are qualified already isn't correct. That's probably why liquipedia hasn't qualified G2 and Guard yet, but M80 is. It's a lot more precise numbers, but Guard isn't confirmed and G2 DEFINITELY isn't confirmed since they're 0-2 rn.

tl;dr that post's math is wrong, assumes stuff that isn't true, i'm proving mathematically it isn't 100% confirmed

obviously my math isn't 100% accurate since it assumes things (DSG somehow getting 2nd), but the math is too tedious for me to figure it out. probably a 98% chance Guard is qualified and an 80% chance G2 is qualified though

the guard isnt throwing lol they're definitely trying. MxM is a good opponent and The Guard has two players off roleing on agents they didnt practice on the map + they have a bad fragging coach

tgrd isn’t throwing though.. josh has never been a great player, look at his performance on nrg. if tex was playing and josh was on coach, this game would be much more close and exciting.

close? it would probably be 2-0, or potentially 2-1 with stomps on split and haven considering how close it is. trent is also switched onto tex's role, net onto trent's, so they're essentially bringing it this close while having a partially different set of roles
