Yeah double duelist is an exception when you need both an operator and a raze on the map but half the time its only played because the duelist player can't play anything other than jett 💀

i think giants is pretty good for that reason, fit1 has a great kayo and nukkye can play a nice raze in that case

there are people who could be better but they need the raze (cryo, demon1, cned, wolfen)

I think the inherent nature of ranked play and the forcing of duelist mains to instalock an agent in order to play duelist has made it so players who are really good on Jett tend to be not so good on raze. Of course there are plenty people who are good on both. It’s also a much different play style from Jett to raze

Derke, Sayf and Aspas are the only 3 that come to me.
Pretty sure 1Leaf is not excluded, but Xeppa is a W raze as well so C9 don't have that problem
Also, the boombot nerf has also damaged Raze a bit.

Alfajer doesn't play Raze anymore but he is a top 5 Raze player before he switched to full sentinel anchor role.

Alfajer can play all the duelists including Neon but nowadays Chronicle runs Raze while Alfa runs Sentinel

Ya I think it's a pretty common take that to be called the best duelist ITW you need something other than Jett. Yay was obviously great but he was never asked to play Raze nor did he ever not need to be on chamber, which is why he was the best in the world during that meta but not this. Derke and Aspas are a tier above(tho aspas hasn't been playing raze he still can) because of their ability to play both agents. The main thing that'll hurt guys like Leaf(please don't try to argue to me that his Raze is good) and Cned is that they are great at Jett but not Raze.
