playing DPS in ow is much more mechanically demanding than any role you could play in csgo or valorant, you will never need that level of 360 degree flicking or tracking in a tactical fps. BUT
the two games are too different for their skills to transfer over reliably. while people like to pretend csgo and val are totally different games, they are functionally the same at the basic level. the skills that are rewarded first and foremost are your game sense, positioning, crosshair placement, and spatial awareness. quick flicks come later, and tracking is just altogether unnecessary
i wont even mention how fundamentally different val and ow are strategically, that's a whole another thing where ow pros have to literally remap how they view the game down to timing, map awareness, communication, etc. while these qualities are all basically 1:1 to cs.
solid dps mains would definitely do fine in valorant mechanically, we have players like corey and sinatraa who are obviously very skilled. but they had their own learning curves to overcome when they started that a experienced csgo player wouldn't even have to think about.
