We all know NRG are a prep-heavy team that excel by counter-stratting teams. Now, 100T have played all maps in this season so far except 1 which is Pearl, their perma-ban

I think 100T should pick Pearl themselves. (You read that right I want them to pick their perma-ban.) Hear me out
100T have yet to show their Pearl this season whereas NRG have shown it 3 times now. And they haven't looked good on it a single time. If MikesHD wants to cook, I think this is the play to catch them off guard. (Of course assuming that they've put in work into their Pearl)

If 100T ban Ascent first and then pick Pearl, the entire map pool shifts in their favour. Even if NRG win their own map pick, 100T get to play the decider on one of Icebox, Split, Haven, Fracture or Lotus which are all decently strong maps for them

NRG usually ban Split. The only reason they might ban Pearl instead is if they see this exact thing coming where 100T pick Pearl. Are Chet and FNS such geniuses to see this coming ? They might be. But it's not a bad thing for 100T bcoz then they get to play a better part of their map pool

11-13 against LEV, 16-14 against MiBR, 9-13 against C9
Not exactly a 'great' map for them

Tbf 100T hasn't done super well on Pearl either but that's the part where I'm gambling that they'll be able to outdo NRG with the added benefit of NRG not having seen their Pearl in a long time

if u watched their matches tho on pearl they should have beaten lev but threw hella post plants, then against mibr they kept throwing man advantages to extend it to ot. they got hard anti strated against c9. im pretty sure they fixed it by now. i think picking pearl is just way too risky for your own map. If i were 100t I would probably try to go after split or lotus.
