Tenz is a great player but his value is mostly from fragging, whilst everyone else on sen can give mor evalue than just kills. Marved can midround and lurk, sacy can midround and clutch, zekken can midround and be proactive, pancada can anchor extremely well. This is probably the best iteration for sen’s roster especially since it allows dephh to call better, its essentially a team of midrounders which was what allowed dephh to be a top tier igl in xset.
But can you really remove a player like tenz, when you know he can play the game and most emportantly how valueble he is for the fans. And i know he under perform with with nrg and leviatan (with the second game being enjoured) but is this enought to moved him out from the roaster? I want marved in the roaster but i dont know if tenz should be replaced so early on .
Yes you can remove tenz because he wouldve benched himself anyways. Also the original plan was to let his contract expire and pick up another player, but tenz was trialed because he wanted a chance to play. Rob moore and kaplan are simply not against the idea of benching tenz since it was one they were planning on doing. The fans will keep watching his streams hes still in sen.
the "original plan" wasnt to pick up another player, it was to see how well tenz would do and that plan foiled because well kyedae has cancer and other issues in his personal life, they werent planning on benching him, it was his decision to bench himself rn if they wanted to bench him they wouldve done that a lot sooner, tenz was apparently going insane in scrims according to multiple people so idk what ur going on about rn
realistically speaking i think the most probable thing thats gonna happen is they go back with tenz once he feels better. marved has been an insane addition to the team based on the past couple of matches and tbh i want him on the starting roster but the problem still lies that they don't have enough practice together with him, their map pool is very small at this point. teams are gonna start realizing that and start banning the maps theyve been playing good at i.e. PEARL. we all know dephh's ability to make plays and adjustments on the spot (or lack thereof) so i dont think theyre gonna continue risking that as the season goes deeper
honestly, I've been thinking that Pancada could be bench, IMO he's not fitting sentinel position very well and TenZ could do his part, if there's any english problem this will be solved, if we look at his rating in this new role, his below average, TenZ can be below average in this too, but with more comms.
Honestly if they figure out the igl role , they should drop deph when tenz is back healthy and mentally good. I feel like the only way SEN is winning anything is if they get Tenz on prime form. He is that guy who will be able to challenge players like derke and aspas and we have seen him do it before. But not sure when he will mentally recover properly.
It’s a tough situation, but if Sen wants to win trophies they still need perfect form TenZ on their team.. beating MIBR 2-1 is literally nothing lol. Even in their win Dephh made some horrible decisions and sen somehow wins against a full stacked site.. my point, winning with bad calling and all firepower isn’t going to beat loud or fanatic or anyone in Tokyo. This team has the pieces to win trophies, if they’re utilized correctly.
Drop dephh, he’s not a good igl, marved/sacy/zekken could all call equally as well as igl and TenZ flex except for OP heavy maps.
