Am I the only one who wants Zeta to do another Cinderella run like masters reykjavik?
I feel like it'd just feel satisfying but maybe I'm weird

i might be high af but they aren't a cinderella. kids coping saying zeta is bad, they legit played good valorant against lev and although they have needed work the past few games i would say they at least aren't bottom 4 in pacific like so many believe. they are also good enough to give any team a run for their money so i wouldn't be surprised if they make tokyo
zeta's run in reykjavik wasn't luck, however they did not go against the full strength of EMEA, and I honestly think had they gone against FNC max power back in masters they would've been done there.
I don't think they are a "shit" team, just not a top 3 in the world like that reykjavik run.
(I really want to see a good run from them again [in an international lan] though, I know they have the potential to do so)
they can beat dfm and talon.
prx and ts will probably be a loss.
t1 and geng are kinda 50/50.
they have a good chance of making playoffs at least
we'll see tomorrow. till then, i'm rating geng below them because of how new the team is
yes, ur the only one, theres no point in doing another cinderella run, ruining other deserving teams with the luck on your side, also being lucky a second time is not the same as it was before, hope they don't qualify to lan ever 💀🙏
specifically for tokyo cause I know jp crowd is gonna be lit and even more lit if Zeta is there (I've given up on dfm for now)
Also the only think Zeta was lucky on during masters reykjavik was not going against FNC full power and FPX.
Beating 3 teams (TL, DRX, PRX) playoff level is not pure luck.
I'm not saying I want them to cinderalla run just cause I'm some zeta meatrider,
I just feel like there was so much untapped potential that this team couldn't execute for many of the tournaments they've gone to after masters reykjavik 2022.
but hey, your opinion is your opinion
i highly doubt zeta will be making any lan this season, zeta was peak during last year cuz of chamber meta laz, it will be much much harder this year as they have to adapt (looking half as good as last year) and theres only 1 masters and then a champions. perhaps next year...
I want Japan valorant to succeed but another run will delay a good Japan powerhouse. I want zeta to have some success but some failures so they can get good upcoming players (like popogachi) so they can become better.
i just curious why zeta so hell bent on the rosters and doesn't make any changes
Would be the perfect script for Tokyo. Also the loyal fanbase of JP is too good to lose for valorant
nah they not that good, the rekyjavic run was a fluke. PRX/DRX/GenG will be the ones to qualify.
They are not bad and are obviously the best japanese team still but they are not the same without chamber
edit: meant to reply to #2 but oh well
