Daily Valorant YT does not support Game Changers

Whoever runs the channel obviously does not support Game Changers. They literally only posted highlights of a smaller tourney (GXR India) when Game Changers Championship was literally held at the same time. Mind you, that smaller tourney was delayed by 3 hours and they still posted highlights within an hour after the game.

Don't go telling me that they prefer covering games with more viewers. They didn't even care to cover DSG on Game Changers. It was surrounded by a lot of hype (even if their run was purely for content). You'd probably get a lot of views from covering that, but still chose not to.

Daily Valorant is notan official Riot channel.
As much as it may seem odd that theyre not posting GC - in the end, the goal is to post the games they think will rack up the highest views (and therefore the most money). Its a business and a source of income. It takes time too - theyre sitting through entire games, finding clips, editing them together - yes, low effort, but time consuming.
Their goal isnt to showcase the games, its just the money that comes from it.
Ex:
GXR india was a big viewership thing. It had franchised teams, huge names (heretics, GE, PRX, Bleed, TS, RRQ, Enigma, etc....)
Covering that is bound to make money from Indian/APAC viewers on youtube.
GC is a low viewership - and therefore low income cover.
Small fanbases divided between regions who arent even guaranteed to watch matches from other regions.

From a money standpoint, it only makes sense to cover the big names Indian tournament versus the lower viewership GC tourney.
I doubt the channel is sexist. Im confident its purely "This will make more money so i will do this instead"
Of course the channel wouldnt want to spend hours pouring through GC games for clips, ESPECIALLY since they know it wont do as well as a video of the GXR India tournament.

Have you considered that GC may have low viewership because very few media cover it? If people will always think that GC isn't profitable, then it'll probably stay that way. But it's probably gonna take a long time before people actually treat both as equally enjoyable.

So what if it isn't to the same level as vct players? I'm sure there's tons of fans out there who just want to see women play the e-sport at a high level. And they're probably not gonna be active fans unless media makes a huge effort to showcase their talent.

GC is very poorly made, its whole goal is to bring light to females/other genders achievements and skill to light, however if riot dont want to put effort than why should the media, riot are actively trying to encourage these gc teams to compete in the main circuit by worsening the GC scene (only 150 seats in champions??????? and only 8 teams qual). I think GC is a good concept idea but honestly its really been shit except from champions (even then viewership had been overtaken by streamers)

Hmm. Maybe Game Changers shouldn't be treated as a permanent solution for women in e-sports. The reason why GC had to be made is that the vct scene is male-dominated. I guess the ideal scenario is to have more mixed teams at the tier 1 level. And since biological differences practically mean nothing in e-sport, then it's much more possible to achieve this.
