Yes i know it's early, yes i know he's the IGL but... At this point of Valorant i think firepower is the most important thing. You can't afford a weak point in your team anymore, hell even FNS stepped it up massively when it came to individual performance. Sacy or Marved should step up as the shot callers or make one of them the IGL. 5 players who are all mechanically world class and 4 of them have world class game sense. Also no hate towards got nothing against Dephh i just think SEN are better off with those 5 players starting

not happening in mid season, could have happened 1 month ago....

sykko is basically training dephh to be a good IGL, not sure why they picked him if they still need to train him to be a IGL.. ayrin would be 100% better than dephh right now, and dephh did 50% igl during his peak era.

somehow they choose a ''half'' IGL + worse aim igl ever, dephh doesn't excel in ANYTHING, bad aim, bad igl.

way better to pick a IGL how can excel at something or at least mid at aim + mid at igl. because now dephh is downgrade at all roles.

ayrin way better and could play sentinel properly.

I doubt sen coach would let that happen since he’s buddy buddy with dephhh. I do think he could potentially get it together, but I don’t see his IGLing to be anywhere near world class.

Yep that's exactly what i mean, i don't ever see him being FNS, Saadhak, Boaster level. I don't think this is reactionary or based on one loss for me, it's just based on the fact that competition is too stiff nowadays. Everybodys gotta be world class if you want to win the NAVI's, DRX's, LOUD's and FNC's

See saaadhak (Furia comp vs Fnatic was made by him and furia copied)
Boaster half shield strategy, etc.
FNS mid round calls

all IGL who don't excel at AIM are really good at strategies, but dephh doesn't excel in anything... not IGL god.
Not AIM god (like King or others)

and sykko still training him to be a good igl, its just waste of resources and time, since they could train any other IGL with high firepower than him.

so it's basically sykko who don't want to drop him. they're basically killing a team by a friendship.

Yea I feel like he's gotten enough experience already yet he's still able to make such basic mistakes. His midrounding is his forte, everything else is just middling.
I don't think he can do it but all I can hope for now is that he has some massive improvement in individual performance like angel or improves massively composure while calling and stops micromanaging like boaster.

As BR, i watched Pancada podcast on MD3 a channel BR. He said ppl were to hard on deeph on Ludwig x Tarik, bc he was (on pancada words) teaching everyone how he wants to play. Remember they played split without pracc on that map.

But about lock in pancada said they are a strong team who still are figure out how to play as a team. He said they are a strong team and was just bad lucky to face Fnatic on 1st round.

What I don't agree with is saying that VAL right now is mostly firepower driven, these final teams in Lock/in had insane reads and executes

At the tippity top yeah you need elite firepower, but it's not needed in all 5 guys -- just look at Fnatic with boaster, he's not that good of a fragger but his reads are great enough to make up for it, unlike Dephh
