I honestly dont see any "new" regions getting promoted.
the likes of vietnam, hk/tw and oce might be stuck outside of t1 (except for a few players on mix teams)

Maybe its due to poor roster construction by franchised teams, but i see the likes of kr/jp/th/id/mysg taking the next few franchise spots.

i feel like that might slowly bleed out the other regions, especially those with low viewership and investments
because the only surge of viewership (for those regions) i could see is if one of those regions break into t1.

is this something that riot shouldve factored in? or is it really just out of riots control.

HK/TW , VN , OCE hv alw been kinda neglected in the past in APAC .
HK/TW challengers in 2022 had better players, more viewership (still is) and was more competitive than Korea , Malaysia
But politics play a role in HK/TW so they cant rly "invest" ig
For VN not all teams/pros take it srsly

alot of these players are just going to greener pastures.
maple, pl1xx from oce moved to china for example.

Im just dont see any team outside of mith/bleed/cr/dplus/indo-top-seed winning ascension.

i didnt follow hk/tw in 2022 but their results outside of their domestic league left alot to desire.

I thought fancy had the chance but im not too impressed by the roster rn. time will tell i guess

players who play good in that region js got picked up by cn orgs now . There's a huge language barrier so can't play in other APAC regions and no proper investment so their teams overall lack depth .
However their players are v talented and there's a big interest of valo there , good viewership

no offense but the regional talent is not there yet.
the SA league will help that alot. I believe the level of play there will increase tremendously.
but you cant blame GE for wanting a competitive roster right now

the indian scene was really shooting itself in the foot the past few years, way too much recycling of old players halting the progress of the new era.

You're being overly critical, do you want GE to play with their old roster that couldn't beat any SEA team and embarrass themselves at the global stage? The truth is Indian talent just isn't there yet. The GE management has always taken decisions best for the Indian ecosystem in the long run I trust them to find a way. The current roster looks potent and after dealing with the language barriers and the role stuff they could be a really good team.

VLT roster looks good enough to compete honestly. If the imports work and they develop synergy they can surely challenge for a franchising spot if not this year then next year. Other than VLT it's very unlikely. Personally, I think this won't work well and they'll keep changing rosters.
