After the Ludwig Tarik invitation I made a thread questioning Ludwig’s character..
I’d like to formally revoke any hate, especially if the following from a Reddit comment is true:

“ No Lud/Moist are doing what they normally do which is sponsor the dark horse individuals/players no one really gives a chance. They're not trying to build a super team like Sen or a team from the ground up like Toast. If you look at the other players Moist sponsors they are all young players in smash That most orgs overlooked. They aren't looking to make a profit off of an esports team they all know that. They are just trying to help the scene the way they can, by pumping it with their own money. They, ESPECIALLY LUDWIG, understand that an esports players/teams coming up grassroots go through so many struggles that can easily be remedied with a basic salary. So even if they didn't 'do their research' on building a team like Toast I still respect them for investing their money and care about helping esports players.”

That moist rocket league squad was a top team when they picked them up.

If you don't have a clear understanding of a game it's better to just pick up a roster that qualified instead of overspending whilst creating a failing project

What options did they have. Either sign a mid f/a team in challengers, and have 1,5 split with maybe more (unlikely). Or do scouting and sign 5 cracked player and only be able to play T3 Mickey Mouse competitions.

At least they have a spot in a VCT competition, and they can invest in changes if needed for next split

or maybe the fact that breakthru, were the best team they could sign at the moment.

Moist got the top apex team in APAC south who got Top 5 in the most recent Apex world champion. Charlie wants to win.
