What do you guys think happened to G2 when they played against SMB? Don't get me wrong, SMB are top 3 EMEA, but a lot of people expected at least a close match.

Bruh you are on some cheap weed if you think what happed with fpx will happen with SMB too. First of all SMB > FPX and 2ndly the only reason G2 even won that match was GOD nukkye solo carries their ass the whole time. In the first map that they won nukkye solo won them 5 rounds. And in the 2nd map that they won nukkye won then 7 rounds full solo no support. That's not even counting the fact that fpx had to eco cause nukkye kept of clutching like that and g2 won more round that way. you think that was cause G2 is good or it was a team effort then watch the match against lmfao. G2 didn't figure out shit against fpx. Fpxed choked as usual and nukkye carried but even nukkye can't carry G2s ass every single match. If G2 match up against SMB they'll probably go 0-13 both maps. Stop just watching the stats after the match watch the match first then talk with some sense

G2 got team diffed pretty hard, simple as that. Whatever SMB were doing, G2 had no counter whatsoever as if they hadn't properly prepared. Everybody might think that SMB won by aim alone, but it was their util usage and the set plays that didn't even give G2 players an opportunity to shoot back. Also it seems that SMB didn't do any major mistakes in the game that would have given G2 a chance, it was a near perfect if not perfect game from SMB players.

Hopefully it was one of those wet towel slaps across the face for G2 that is supposed to make the team much better, otherwise EMEA's only hopes in Berlin are either Acend or SMB.

Smb is pretty good but I never thought g2 will lose. G2 has the most stacked team in EU but they still lost somehow.
Can't say what happened but g2 might have underestimated smb or maybe they were having a bad day. I will not consider them out yet.
