At the start of his career, Victor was a promising prospect and was improving at a steady rate on his first team. Then, he was moved to a new team, where he found new teammates with whom he could further develop his game. This culminated in him developing into one of the best players in NA, showing that he was a star. However, it sees recently he has fallen from grace and after the addition of a great player to the team, whom we all know, he may never see the level of production we once expected from him. Just for perspective, in 2017-18, Victor Oladipo was an all-NBA player who averaged 23 a game and was named most improved and nominated to the all-defensive team. However, he ended up playing fewer games for the Indiana Pacers from 2018-2020 (64) than he played during that breakout season (75). After being bounced to Houston in 2020 and leading one of the worst squads in the NBA while seeing his number dropping, he eventually went to the Heat, where he dealt with injuries like he had the past couple of years. Now with the addition of the aforementioned star, Kyle Lowry, it seems Oladipo's role as a first option or even second option in the NBA is over. However, it is still possible that the talent that surrounds him will motivate him to come back stronger this season and revive his once-promising career.
