Sacy - Initiator (IGL)
Pancada - Controller
Tenz - Duelist
Marved - Sentinel
Sick - Flex
As duelist? Yes. As flex? No.
If they're moving zekken to flex is just not worth to have him on team, Sentinels is a mess because they are making players not play at their strongest and comfortable roles.
If they put Tenz on duelist again is way better to have someone like Sick than Zekken, but zekken has a lot growth potential but still uncertain. The issue is that if any player from SEN underperform they will lose because they start a match already 4v5 by lack of firepower from their IGL.
Basically no one from SEN can underperform otherwise = GG
Sacy, Tenz, Pancada, needs to play at highest level ALWAYS since they already has someone who underperform every game.
Zekken is fine as duelist as well. last game was an one off game but if zekken can frag out as lone duelist then tenz would find a lot of value as Sage, kayO etc as we have seen against FNC and Ludwig tournament. It just depends on if Dephh is on point as an IGL and the brazilians can assimilate with the rest. If teamwork and gameplan is as lackluster as it was against FNC then even TenZ on OG Jett wouldn't save them against good teams.
I'm basically saying that Zekken is better duelist than Sick.
I just told that Sick is BETTER FLEX, not sure why people downvoted me lol.
I also told that Zekken will struggle at start because his new role, problem is if zekken struggle too much + their NPC IGL = gg. because 3v5 will be hard.
basically no one in SEN can underperform otherwise they will lost since their IGL will be always underperforming all matches.
just check depph last 20 matches, dude got only THREE matches with KDA 1.01 (+1) all other matches was like -10, -20, -30.
It's just too much to have someone like him when he is not that great igl at all to compensate the AIM difference.
Zekken still learning his new role.
My issue is more about their IGL since he is nowhere near any other NA IGL.
He is always bottomfrag + Not GOD IGL.
Is way better for SEN to pick some mid igl + mid firepower because mid igl + sacy = complete igl.
As I said they start a match already 4v5 and If Zekken or any other player underperform = gg.
I'm starting to lose confidence in dephh. Outside of zekken's underperformance, the IGLing was really bad on their defense side. Their attack was fine on both maps(Haven was a bit unlucky they should have gotten more rounds on attack). But their defense looked way too easy for FNATIC to break in. And they didn't seem to be using tenz and zekken aggressively on defense, which is odd cause that's where both of them excel. And dephh was also not hitting shots.
yeah, that's what I'm saying.
My worry is because depph has no growth potential at all, his AIM sucks since XSET times, if you see his last 20 matches he only got positive (+1) in 3 matches.
his positive has like KDA 1.01 is only THREE matches
It's just too much for a team to carry such a bot when he is not IGL at FNS level, and SEN has sacy who can be second IGL, is way better for SEN to pick a MID IGL + MID Firepower because MID IGL + Sacy second IGL = a complete IGL.
They would be increasing their firepower with no downside.
I hope SEN to recruit Vanity who at least can do MID IGL + Decent Firepower. It would be a upgrade.
Yeah, seems like Sykko also is "training" a 31 years old to be a proper IGL which for me makes no sense at all.
Dude has a lot experience from CS and other FPS games and still need to be trained to be a good igl when he has no AIM.. it amazes me by this decision of sykko.
training someone who has no growth potential is such a bad decision, why not pick someone else to do this thing? lol.
What depph adds to the team anyway? cause I still cannot see anything.
All other old players in this game tries to overcome their by knowledge, if you see FNS, Jessie, all other old players has brain. If not insane IGL level they at least has decent firepower.
But depph somehow, lacks both.
On raze and Neon? maybe. As a Jett and an OPer? TenZ is better. People trash on tenz more for one bad performance than they would do to any other player just bc he is the most popular thus his bad games get more visibility. Even at xset Zekken often had bad performances cz he was the entry. It's normal
Tenz role is now flex, thus duelist zekken. A major reason for adding zekken and Pancada to the the team is to reduce the pressure on tenz shoulders, can you imagine knowing you have to drop 40 or lose every game? Plus more the fire power the better it is. Honestly I think given more time this team will be successful the fire power on this team is insane, zekken, tenz, pancada and Sacy all of these guys are insane players, this is the reason I’m fine if deph doesn't frag out but obv unlike the fnatic game he needs to do better round calling (which I know he will in the coming league). People need to chill you don’t drop amazing players after one bad series give them time.
(Waiting for I ain’t reading all that responses 💀)
There shouldn’t be much of a role clash now that every team is running double duelists around, idk why SEN didn’t try to do the same
Also the real roles issue here for me was Sacy and zekken on haven, zekken is a much more aggressive player than Sacy so it feels like he should’ve been the one on skye while Sacy plays the agent whose util is a lot more important for the team (not to mention that Sacy has a lot more experience in breach then on skye, just an overall odd decision by them)
tarik x ludwig doesnt even count, sacy pancada were in town for less than a week before that tournament.
there are 3 agents and new maps coming up in 2023 so the meta might change again.. most pros will need to adapt and learn new roles and agents and being flexible to play different styles according to the meta is the only way to go. Chopping and changing teams after every other match will not bring success. Leaf was known as a duelist, now plays KJ too in some maps because its required - THAT is the way to go, and not complain about role clashes since there is no room for 1 tricks like BabyJ
I think is better to have one elite duelist in your team who can play any duelist (Aspas) than to have 2 guys who keep alternating roles because of the meta/maps, for me is far better to play as cohesive as possible and for that to happen one side needs to leave and pick a guy who can contribute more for the team
i dont believe thats the reason for LOUD performing good vs SEN performing bad. Its just that aspas LESS saadhak core has been playing together for a while which is why there is cohesion. SEN and C9 just need time. Moreover Zekken always played Raze and is better than TenZ at it.. its just that Chamber going out of meta has affected this, forcing SEN to pick the next best sentinel like Sage on Split. TenZ was always going to be preferred for Jett. My main question is that the meta might change again, and will teams cut people again? for example say Chamber becomes viable option again then what? The calls for fixing or cutting players at this stage is absurd.
Well, sentinels are having potential for one-sided domination. But seems like coaching restriction is limiting their performance.
In ranked, you will see them popping off in almost every round as they play freely in ranked matches. But when comes to pro valorant, the limitation of planning, execution, etc gets too complicated for brains that limits their potential for the round.
Example: You will go aggressive in ranked to get an early pick. But in the pro scene, you are most likely to avoid it just to not give any man advantage to the enemy team.
Now your agent role draft for:
Sacy - Initiator (IGL)
Pancada - Controller
Tenz - Duelist
Marved - Sentinel
Sick - Flex
I will do prefer the following:
tenz and zekken aggressive agents roles, kayo, jett, raze etc
pancada sacy can go for specially controller agents (basically as clutch player for the team)
dephh - lurk/sentinel
that will be my opinion on this
