the exchange rate doesn't directly correlate to the purchasing power of either wage in the other's economy. An relatively high NA wage in brazil is the equivelant of a rich wage in Brazil, and the opposite is true.

Bro, Ik that, but I live in Brazil, and I can say 100% for sure, with $1000 in USA you can buy at least 3x more things than R$ 1000.
Here nothing is cheap.
With $40.000 you can buy an nice car right? In Brazil with R$40.000 you buy a popular garbage car without airbag

Also Brazil is one of easiest countries to be rich, just create a Youtube video reacting BR things = free money.
The less education a country has, the easier it is to become rich there.

Even if you cry that in BR is way more expensive It is only proportional to the ease of earning money in your country.

1st: you camparision is absoluted wrong, we were discussin here the purchasing power of each currency
2nd: you can't compare USD 1000 in USA with USD 1000 in BR, as I said USD is 5.20 times higher when converted, so USD1000 = 5200 BRL

Bro, my english sucks so I type this way but not to offend.

I just said that in US they will spent more too (ofc, not that much compared to BR) because everything in US (house, membership, healthy food, etc) is more expensive than Brazil.

I just pointed these things.

In Brazil if you earn 20k BR money you can live better than earning 20k USD in US (healthy way I meant)
I know that Electronics are expensive in Brazil, cars too, but there are also many positive things that you guys don't seem to appreciate at all.

Each country has it problems, Japan is not that great too.

One fucking Melon fruit here is about $100-125 (bad quality, not sweet at all)
While sweet melons is around $200 USD

I'm just pointing out those things that are different from each country, I just said that in Brazil you can live a "rich" lifestyle with a way less than money than in US

Tbh i dont think they left for money, because if you think they won champions and are very expensive players to have in a team, any team they go will have to pay enough money to live, i think they left because its a new experience to play internatonaly and a chance to create new fans around the world
