Agreed. Crazy how even in another game, the only reason why Bronzil is still relevant is because of Fallen. Brazilian teams just lack strategy and discipline, they'll never win any International event if they don't bootcamp in NA or EU.

They do have the firepower, but practicing only against weak BR teams won't net them any results.

You say that but the NA with so much investment and money and has ridiculous performance in e-Sports, now that they have some relevance in a new game and have the best team in the world they want to discredit our region, which is much poorer and always achieved a lot with very little investment, you should respect the Brazilian community, NA has always been a major region in League of Legends and has always had pathetic performances in the Worlds and never lost 1 slot

My guy, I'm all out for NA losing spots in League wtf. I hate seeing shit teams playing, NA should've lost some spots in Worlds a long time ago.
I'm completely unbiased here, I don't care which country has more spots, as long as the teams in International events are the best among the best.

And remember that LG (in csgo, with fallen) only won the majors AFTER they bootcamped internationally, before that they just couldn't beat international teams. Fallen himself said this.

I'm not trashtalking Brazil, I'm giving you the solution: it's bootcamping. Do it and start winning, or stay in Brazil and keep losing. Ask the pros, they know it's true.

Of course! NA is still a joke in CS. As I said, I don't care about the regions themselves, NA is garbage is cs and so is Brazil.

I root for Sentinels not because they're from NA, but because they're better. If a BR team dominated Iceland, I'd start rooting for them. I don't pick based on country or favorite player, I pick based on skill.

Guess "root" wasn't the best word, "enjoy" would be better. I like watching the highest level of the game, so I don't care if SEN wins or loses, and I don't care if BR teams win or lose. Whoever wins, whoever is the best, I'll enjoy watching them the most. Nothing against BR, but they are weaker, and will keep being as long as they don't bootcamp.

That said, Riot won't do it since Brazil makes them so much money (from skins and stuff).

The more teams the better if you ask me. I hope Brazil does well this tournament. I want Valorant to thrive in as many countries as possible, and that won’t happen if these other regions continue to have poor showings on lan.

This game would be lame if it only stayed popular in NA because every other region keeps losing.

While I would love to see NA in the top 3 slots (I don’t think it’s very far fetched tbh), I think it would be much better for the scene if it went something like this.

TBH, Brazil being a single country (and with a smaller population than other countries I am going to give examples of) gets 2 slots. However, that's not it. Latin America gets another slot.
That totals 3 slots in total for South America.
Now talking about champions, BR gets 2 spots Latin America takes 1 slot along with a South America last chance qualifier. Like seriously? 4 teams out of 16 from this region?
Vikings were probably the only decent team from the region. YNG sharks had good players like gaabxx still as a team they had nothing unique.
I have no idea what KRU was doing as well. Not that they are a bad team but, internationally they have way more ground to cover.

If someone still thinks South America deserves its 3-4 slots, let me inform you about South Asia and Oceania regions. There is no VCT in South Asia. To compete in VCT they need to play international tournaments to get 1 slot in VCT. That's right these guys have to compete just for a vast pool of talent to get 1 slot to play in VCT.
There was no slot for Iceland, there is no slot for Berlin. No matter how good you are. They did not lose, they were not even given a chance.
To get to champions they will have to beat the giants of SEA, KR and JP regions.

Oceania has a similar story and they don't get slots, not even one.
