if Liquid goes Berlin = Default Champions qualify

If Liquid goes berlin they are by default going to VCT Champions :

Here it is :
Least Liquid circuit points if they go berlin = 425

Max possible Acend circuit points = 475
Max possible Gambit circuit points = 520
Max possible Guild circuit points = 450
Rest all teams even if they become runner up at berlin are < 425(liquid least points)

If liquid qualifies for berlin -
1) They remove one of the teams from Acend/ Gambit from the circuit points race.
2) Even if Guild comes 2nd(450) and Gambit comes 3rd(470) at berlin , liquid isn't finishing berlin at 13-16th position so actually there least circuit points = 475.
3)Only 1 team at max can surpass liquid in total circuit points.

PS: This is all considering Liquid defeats forZe and Ace/Gambit. Hoping so

Still same, if liquid goes berlin they are going champions. If EMEA team wins master 3, No effect in circuit points because winner directly qualifies for champions

but if EMEA wins masters 3 wouldn't now have an extra spot directly for champions, so, consequentially, freeing a spot on LCQ ?? This would give an opportunity to an extra team, as far as I'm concern

Yeah, but the point is that the top two teams with most circuit points of EMEA make VCT Champions automatically.

We don't know about G2 yet. Liquid wasn't consistent in Iceland.

Just saying that not all of them will make it to Berlin so there are chances for other teams to qualify for Champions too.

Its gonna be real tough for liquid since they have to beat gambit or acend to qual, which, on average i would say both are better than liquid. Best chance is if the opponent is gambit and liquid are feeling real good that game
