Ranked is dying, EvrMoar fired soon

Now that all pros have left NA ranked, and there are new hubs coming to replace ranked for most players, is it time to finally replace EvrMoar -- senior developer in charge of ranked? he hasn't posted his usual 'fun fact friday' and I imagine Riot's staff is contemplating firing him for letting rank get to this desperate state. I think we as a community ought to demand his firing and his replacement with someone who actually understands the game like YaBoiDre. the 'premier' mode will do nothing to fix ranked, that's for teams not individuals. something as simple as account verification would go a long way to fixing ranked, but in reality they just need to hire admins to at least try to police ranked instead of needing a blue checkmark to tweet at some riot dev to ban someone...

i have friends who run a network of account boosting and they blatantly cheat to sell accounts at high elo and only a tiny tiny tiny fraction get banned (less than .01%) -- the game is broken. i know people who go on radiant accounts and just throw games for fun and say the most troll stuff but go entirely unpunished. the system is broken. evrmoar has failed. i believe in yaboidre supremacy.

tldr: cod player doesn't know how to manage tactical fps ranked system, surprise surprise, and now that ranked is dying he should be fired and replaced with YaBoiDre

unless you mean who asked, in which case i would say anyone who cares about fixing ranked in this horrific state its been in for over two years and has now reached rock bottom with pros leaving for tarik's pro city hub

no man, it isnt just boosters or crypto throwers, its a general lack of punishment for throwing, not communicating, being toxic, and the fact that teams are completely unbalanced, no admin support (good luck reporting someone ahahahahahahah), but you can keep being a riot fanboy and not demanding a better experience from your billionaire overlords (on your knees little sheep, on your knees)

it has been suffering alot of the problems overwatch 1 had.
people not caring enough at higher ranks.
insta locking duelists/dps forcing most of the games to be really uncompetitive

games like these will always end up with a messy ranked queue.

tarik made the server just to have games will consistent comms and better integrity

totally agree. better integrity is feasible. tarik's is a model of what could be possible. riot is a billion dollar company. they can invest more than they currently do in maintaining higher competitive standards. we shouldn't just point to the failures of other games to comfort ourselves in our own hell. we ought to fight for a better world. dont let corporations walk all over the community that pays their checks. right now they only use algorithms to ban people, not admins. esports is a new field and many who are employed at these companies are incompetent paycheck stealers. the community is largely composed of children who blindly trust authority.

i think adding a "avoid as teammate" option would be good though
just restrict the amount of players avoided to 3 per person to help queue times

Sorry but how are crypto throwers, no commers, ego players, and any social issues his fault? His work is on the system of rank. He can’t control if your teammates are dipshits or not. Also he’s not the head honcho of it. He literally just a vocal dev telling the players about how MMr and ranked backend work. Pieces of shit like you is why developers are hesitant to talk to the community. Also manual admin is a lot more work than you think. How the fuck are a team of people suppose to monitor millions of games. For verification why? Why do you willingly want to give riot more info to identify you. For a vast majority of players like 99.999% of them they have zero problem with rank. Why should they be punshied when like 1000 people suffer from issues outside of riot control.

rito shill detected. 99% of players will tell you that they have issues with competitive integrity in 4/5 games they play a night (at least one smurf, booster, boosted, cheater, thrower, toxic, unbalanced teams, etc etc etc). developers need to grow a pair because this is their job to respond to the community. as for verification, you are a verified idiot: as one famous post lamented, to require verification would mean that the inflated player count that riot advertises will fall off a cliff. it would also help mitigate against alt accounts.

there's a ton they could do to fix ranked: allow features for longer que times to play with players of a higher account level (thus mitigating against smurfing and alt accounts that throw); admins to review complaints so blatant aimbotters dont make it to radiant after 300 games; releasing a replay system for the community to self-police (demo systems have existed in CS for over 20 years); reset hidden mmr and not just your shiny rank so you HAVE to play more to keep your dignity; and so much more.

but honestly with kiddos like you sucking riot's toes, its better to leave this game in its hellish state and to just move to hubs to keep you out

We don't know Dre's job or how good he will be should Riot replace EvrMoar.
Ranked is in a desperate state because players want to crypto-throw, boost, account share, be a toxic douchebag, not comm. It's not because of EvrMoar; it's because players choose to do anything of the above.
Your friends are precisely the problem to your whole argument, and you think it's EvrMoar's fault they're not getting banned? Buddy, the report system is manually monitored, meaning MANY employees go through each report and act on it. You think it might be lazy, but it's harder than you think.
Going back to 3), reports get acted upon EVENTUALLY. It might not be instantaneous, but the consequences do happen. Earlier this month, there were toxic individuals in my game: my team and I reported them, and those individuals got banned after two days.
