indians hyping up doma & ec1s like they are yay & FNS π
βThe amount of money bleed gave is huge enough to make me and my family retire for whole life.β
Letβs assume here, given that you donβt trust my information: Google says the average budgeting for living in retirement in Thailand should be around 50,000-100,000 Baht per month. At the very least, going by 50,000 THB, hereβs your numbers:
50,000 x 12 x 60=36 million Baht; roughly 1m USD at the very least for a single person, let alone his whole family. Plus sScary mentioned how he would put to use some of his money, ie buying property. Iβm not sure what incentive I would have to lie, im simply relaying what I know lol
that buyout was just a fake number given out by a reporter who knows very little about finances
same reporter who said japan teams paid as much as NA teams
and this was literally in the middle of a recession with high inflation too, no shot anybody would shell 1 mil for a mid esports player unless it's a very complex money laundering scheme
I honestly blame babyj, he is super inflexible and forces cypher on every map. Ec1s forsaw the chamber meta(and asuna wasn't that good on jett anyways) and chamber having 0 synergy with Jett on Ascent, gave Ec1s that idea. Unfortunately they played like they had a duelist(which chamber wasn't) and lost because of it.
Ec1s got benched from liquid bc he can't aim, but the moment he got benched team liquid's strats fell apart(other than the entire team go kill). It's the firepower that carried liquid to tournaments and why they were great at Breeze and icebox(2 most aim heavy maps) but not anything else.
The new 100t is better, but I think Ec1s def deserved a chance with asuna and jcstani.
