  1. Every language is 100% worthwhile and completely useless to learn in different contexts.

  2. You really put Hindi, Russian and Chinese in the top 5 šŸ˜

Iā€™d say Russian and Chinese are some of the more useful?I agree about Hindi tho, most people from India just speak English anyways

Maybe Estonian (at least in EU)? Only spoken by like 1.3 million and it really isn't close to any other language than Finnish (spoken by 5.5 million). So you are learning unique language that is really different to pretty much any other language and there's only 1.3 million people who speaks it and it could only help you to learn a language that is spoken by 5.5 million. So overall its not worth it.

I love Estonia tho <3

Imagine not learning eesti when they have gems like https://youtu.be/jmGrUnRgm64, also there are some obscure languages spoken by 100 people that are close to Estonian(like vadjalaizod language or setu/viro/veps/izhora)

from a business POV, mandarin is very useful if you're looking to pursue a career in international relations or something similar, hindi as well but to a lesser extent because a lot of Indians speak english

English is the language used in most offices.

You never use Hindi in any official meetings or presentations.

The same goes for university.

Infact speaking hindi in a business presentation will be looked down upon and even considered unprofessional.

So pretty much useless from a business standpoint.

Cool if you want to travel in North India though. But Hindi becomes as useful as mandarin when travelling in South India.

yes official meetings will use english, but id suppose that speaking hindi with indian clients would attach a sense of familiarity which typically helps in business deal. but yea ig hindi isnt that useful unless youre trying to do some volunteer work or something.

No, it doesn't.

Even in east asian countries like Hong Kong or Japan where the local language is really popular, if they are dealing with international firms, they will use English. Unless you are working with really local businesses there, English is the default mode of communication.

In India, however, you never (and I mean never) use Hindi with a client to start off unless the client requests for Hindi or makes a special note. English is the default everywhere.

Take any consulting firm like McKinsey, BCG, Delloite or Accenture in India. All their consultants use English always and these are Indian consultants talking to Indian companies. If a foreign company talks to Indian companies, they can use English without any hesitation. If you use Hindi in a presentation, it will probably just become a quick joke followed by a serious talk (in English ofc).

Lmao is an unidentified Chinese hacker. He is known to be working with a very close brother, Lmfao, for the Chinese government and intelligence agency. These hackers are considered a threat by the British and American intelligence, and their existence was made known through interviews involving internet users, including a young African American man who was convinced that their names were slang abbreviations.

Lmao cope, with Swedish other Germanic languages become more easy, the only useless languages in Europe (in a sense that they don't make learning other languages easier and not many people speak them overall) are Baltic ones and Estonian/Finnish/Hungarian. Even Romanian is useful, so Swedish is def useful too.

nordic languages (- jerman) will be irrelevant in 30 years since all the muslims are coming now and they dont wanna learn them
