But honestly. What's with the overrating of Gambit and underrating of SMB.
Yea. If Tanizhq(idk how to spell his name) nurtures the talent on this roster. This team will be a beast. Literally izzy and russ are some of the best firepower I've seen. Paura looks a little Lackluster but I'm guessing he's IGLing so I guess it's acceptable. Brave seems decent. And Turko just seems to not be on it. But let's see what happens.
The firepower is just ridiculous.
Agree. Their performance is probably the most interesting storyline of the EMEA playoffs imo.
I have them beating FPX (sorry) then losing to G2 and Gambit in my bracket. I also have both G2 and Gambit qualifying, so those aren't bad losses imo.
I see at least one non-EU team qualifying through the EMEA playoffs - but SMB and Gambit are the only two that I think can do it. Personally just trust Gambit slightly more due to the greater experience as a team.
Yea. I just hate how some people have forZe beating SMB. Literally I swear to god. If I see another Pickem that does that. I'll just report it to enigma to delete it. Because how. Tf. Do. You. Think. That. SMB can lose to forZe. There are some braindead NA fans that think TR is just trash.
I personally have SMB losing to FPX and then beating forZe, Giants, and Gambit. With an amazing lower bracket after facing the loss against FPX.
OXG were also 3rd to 4th. And the CIS competition is practically nonexistent. Other than NaVi and Gambit. Everyone is pretty much shit. I do think Gambit is good. But they are way too overrated. And it has been shown that they are much better in scrims that actual matches. A lot of people call them a scrimbux team. And honestly I can't blame them. Because they just seem to less good than pro's say they do in scrims. Let's see what happens though.
I mean you are a delusional Gambit fan though. Nice bait.
Before iceland lan many teams were also saying that vikings were beasts in scrims. If anything, being very good in scrims is probably a bad sign as you reveal too much about your gameplay. And why would you tryhard in scrims too much? These matches doesnt mean anything. Losing hard would probably be better because teams might let their guard down in officials lol. It should be looked at like friendly matches before big football/basketball tournaments where you try to see how certain things work in practice. Winning and tryharding should not be the aim.
