I mean I get that it's controversial sometimes but outside of that the animation, world building, characters, fight choreography are all S tier. I'm also just a sucker for adventure (like Samurai Champloo) so the dead end arc is peak for me. I also cried in part 2 because of the family moments

are you referring to Quintessential Quintuplets? Yeah I would score season 2 higher than Oregairu, it's more fun. As for Your Name, while the animation and characters were nice the whole plot and timeline was a little convulted. Doesn't hold a candle to A Silent Voice in terms of writing imo.
I've watched the first 4 episodes of Cowboy Bebop, didn't really find it interesting.
Miss Kobayashi is a masterpiece of a comedy/SoL. It honestly rivals SpongeBob in aesthetics and authenticity.
While I enjoyed the dynamic between the main couple, the side characters left alot to be desired. None of them were interesting and they had dedicated arcs for each one for a whole episode. I thought something like Oregairu had more interesting side characters and arcs for example.

I dont deny that miss kobayashi is good. the reason i dislike it is the fact that:
"Hmmmm... yess.. lets name the little boy shota and then pair him up with the huge tits lady... yes, this is a great idea, and totally not at all weird!"
not to mention other ""weird"" ways they treat some of the characters

Also, i dislike quintessential mostly because of the "harem" feel it has (I REALLY FUCKING HATE HAREM SHOWS), although i admit some of the writing is good
It's pretty easy to tell that the girls (emphasis on S) are just magnified bait for waifu fans. Despite this occurring in 99% of other romance anime/manga, this one just stands out to me as annoying because you can tell the only reason they made 5 girls that look the same instead of one is to give them different personalities so that the characters had more appeal to more audiences.
(eg shy girl attracts shy girl fans, tsundere attracts tsundere fans) et cetera
It feels like all of the girls are just disguised advertisements for the show, "one show fits all waifu fans" looking ass story trying to bait fans with women instead of gaining fans with a good story (Which it does eventually get)

TLDR for quint;

story is pretty good however the premise is flawed and easy to see through IMO, and some of the characters simply feel like advertisements sometimes

As for your opinion on your name, it is rejected, and i rate your opinion 1/10

I accept just not finding bebop interesting as long as you admit its soundtrack is a banger

And finally, horimiya, just cave in and read the manga. Much better and has less of the problems you described
