Western dota players do well tho for example. Even vs the chinese. Its not like in league where the west get crushed completely, 0 hope.

Its just the way riot has made their league circuit since 2014. Theyre fucking terrible lol

moba talent in china and korea primarily plays league so you wont see much success from china. the same reason why EU isnt completely dominant in valorant, the best EU tac fps players play cs. likewise cn kr they play league

You can still be amazing at certain games while being a westerner.

Yes playerbase in important but the circuit has to make it simple to have many tournaments and scrimmages vs the best. Riot did not do that in league for like 8 years. Which is pathetic. Just closed circuit for each region but asia is favoured since they are close enough to scrim each other.

Riot fked up it is what it is. They learmed for val a bit at least. They will be trying to recrify the damage in the next few years (starting with2023). But it is far too late. The west is doomed in league and thats that.
