Hmm is it? I haven't read the source material for either but MT is considered by most as the best isekai light novel. The 1st season of the anime was fantastic

Story wise it’s not as well written, but DAMN if it isn’t some of the best action in modern media with a fantastic art style to compliment it
Manga will always be better than anime IMO so I can’t comment super well on the anime but for sure the manga is goated
